Travelling between 4 mountain resorts - and with extra option of flying down to Tierra del Fuego's El Castor to cap it off sking at the end of the world.

DURATION
The ski safari is as long as you have time for.
COST
We are open book on the cost of the trip - we negotiate are business rates, organise all this with all the logistics (hotels, transfers, domestic flights / with no mark up. You pay that direct or to us for us to pass on.
Then guest pays a daily guiding rate to Bagual between the private group.
So all very clear.

DATES
JULY
his is winter holidays in Chile & Argentina and the resorts get more people than they can handle. So we avoid this.
Whats more snow is less predicatable and more thna likely late rather than early.
AUGUST
This is winter and best time for fresh powder snow.
SEPTEMBER
Quickly moves into spring ski season. Up to mid September and sometimes until October (particularly in Tierra del Fuego).

Arrival Details
All travelers must arrive in Buenos Aires (at the latest) on the day before a mid morning domestic flight on Day 1. It may be possible to check straight through to Bariloche Airport from Bs. As. International Airport. Normally easiest to break the journey in Bs.As.
DAY ONE //
The itinerary starts with your arrival at the airport in Patagonia. From the airport, you will be privately transferred on a 1/2 hr car journey from San Martin airport, to San Martin de Los Andes. We will be 15 minutes away from the resort of Cerro Chapelco.
Overnight Accommodations: Good hotel.
DAY TWO
15 minute drive to the lifts.
Full day sking at the resort. Getting a feel for the skiing all round the mountain. Giving a good feel of where the best sking is here.
We will do 3 full days here.

DAY THREE
Full days sking & exploring the forests and the further away pistes.

DAY FOUR
Full days sking.

DAY FIVE
Moving day. We drive to Villa Angostura (Cerro Bayo)
Early start. We pass a very small beautiful area called Lago Hermosa, where there is a private ski resort. We will stop here for the day to ski, walk, dog sleigh or ski tour.
Very beautiful forest region on the lake.
Drive onto Villa Angostura (1.5 hours).
Overnight Accommodations: Excellent Hotel Lodge on the lake
DAY SIX
1o minute drive to the lifts for our hotel on the shore of the Nahuel Huapi Lake.
Full day sking at Cerro Bayo.
Overnight Accommodations: Excellent Hotel Lodge.
DAY SEVEN
Full day sking again at Cerro Bayo.
Overnight Accommodations: Excellent Hotel Lodge on the lake
DAY EIGHT to DAY TEN
Moving day.
Drive 1.5 hours to Bariloche.
Full day sking at Catedral. This is the biggest resort in Patagonia.
We will stay in lovely accomodation and drive 20 minutes each morning to the resort. We will do 3 full days exploring this resort.
There options for reaching refuge huts, snow shoe walking, ski touring - or just enjoying the mountain slopes.
Overnight Accommodations: Another Excellent Hotel Lodge on the lake
DAY ELEVEN.
Potential departure day back to Buenos Aires from Bariloche for onward travel ...
Depending on guests timing - more sking can be done here at this resort to make it a 2 week trip - or depending on the snow conditions there is a fourth resort down at Esquel, which is a beautiful drive - 'El Oyo' - for a complete adventure 3 nights in Esquel with 2 days sking & fly back from Esquel.
Then the last option - instead of Esquel - is to fly from Bariloche down to Tierra del fuego - and do a 4 night stay at El Castor and fly back from there.
