WHAT TO EXPECT
STAY in the estancia main house in very nice rooms, lovely garden and views. There is also a splendid lake side cabin available for stay.
RIDE in very beautiful countryside by the lake and up in the mountains, plenty of forest trails to.
EXPERIENCE traditional family hosting with tremendous attention to detail.
ENJOY the criollo horses and comfy argentine saddles. There is special attention to good saddles and tack at the estancia. The horses are saddled close to the main house

Arrival Details
All travelers must arrive in Buenos Aires (at the latest) on the day before a mid morning domestic flight on Day 1. It may be possible to check straight through to Bariloche Airport from Bs. As. International Airport. Normally easiest to break the journey in Bs.As.
DAY ONE //
The itinerary starts with your arrival at the airport in Patagonia. From the airport, you will be privately transferred on a 1.5 hr car journey from Bariloche airport, to the Estancia house.
Overnight Accommodations: Estancia House.
DAY TWO
Daytime activities will include a morning and afternoon ride, with lunch served at the house

DAY THREE
Full day trail ride through forest and along the lakeside, climbing up to hidden twin lakes. Picnic in this incredible spot. Returning through narrow long river valley, with ancient Indian cave paintings enroute.

DAY FOUR
Full day ride to another region of the Estancia, high picnic spot with stunning Andean views. Back to the Estancia for tea.

DAY FIVE
Exploratory morning & afternoon rides from camp. There are lots of Red Deer (cervus elaphus). Late afternoon rides in the lovely light are rather special.
DAY SIX
Your 4X4 transfer will arrive today to take you to your flight in Bariloche or onward journey.
As mentioned, the timescale can be tailored according to your needs and group.

Break up your journey to Patagonia with a 2- night stopover in Buenos Aires, leaving yourselves a full day to explore
the city, before (or after) meeting up with your Patagonia Trail Horse Safari team. Our boutique hotel is part of the Bagual family of hosts, which we have a close relationship with. The hotel is situated in a great location, which is both quiet and private setting, with a lovely garden to unwind in. Guests will be provided with a unique itinerary, which they can take on themselves. Activities will include visits to a local museum, tack shop, our bespoke Bagual style bombacha tailor, lunch stop recommendation, market, and excellent supper options - lots of wonderful things to explore known only to us!
