FUN TIMES in good company
ENDURANCE the racing is very popular in the region & is a great way to get a feel of the horseman spirit here. The standard of horses is very high as is the organisation. Just locals & hence a fun immersion where you'll be warmly welcomed. This is a proper immersion for the adventurous. It's competitive!

Winter:
*Potentially, with advanced warning, winter riding could be arranged (July, August, early September) & combined with puma tracking with conservation expert. A unique & beutiful time to be the cordillera for winter enthusiasts.

Arrival Details
All travelers must arrive in Santiago (at the latest) on the day before a domestic flight on Day 1. It is possible to check straight through to Puerto Natales Airport (or Punta Arenas) from Santiago International Airport.
DAY ONE //
The itinerary starts with your arrival at the airport in Patagonia. From the airport, you will be privately transferred on a 2hr car journey from the airport, to the first estancia where you'll meet your horses.
Overnight Accommodations: Traditional Estancia House.
DAY TWO
A morning and afternoon ride exploring the mountains on the farm, with lunch served back at the Estancia. It is a privately owned estancia of 20000 hectares neighbouring the national park. Plenty of opportunity for canters.

DAY THREE
Full day ride with picnic.

DAY FOUR
Drive to second Estancia after breakfast. Afternoon ride.

DAY FIVE
Day ride with picnic, with wild likely seeing herds of wild horses.
Overnight Accommodations: Overnight out on the Estancia in a Puesto summer house out on remote place on the farm.
DAY SIX
After breakfast ride 6 hours to neighbouring estancia.

DAY SEVEN
After breakfast drive drive to a different region to a hidden Estancia which has stunning riding an views of Torres del Paine in the distance.
Meet horses - and ride 5 hours to remote simple summer house where we will make 2 days camp.
Overnight Accommodations: Summer Camp.
DAY EIGHT //
Day ride exploring forest trails, summerlands and mountain tops ...
DAY NINE //
Ride out of camp to the trail head, to be met by our vehicle and driven to the village of Puerto Natales for the last night.

Transfer to the airport.

The head of BBC Bristol wildlife contacted us in 2014 for advice on where to best film pumas & wild horses; knowing the extent to which we had explored the region over the years and the unique relationship we had the regions landowners. Thus emerged new, original and groundbreaking footage that has helped change the destiny of the puma in the region and a focus on conservation in the large estancias around the torres del Paine park.
